When we are naked in front of others we are exposing all our faults and flaws and inviting others to witness them. And yet, the flaws that we see are not what others see as flaws.

I was speaking to someone today about nudity and they expressed how they didn’t think they could wander around naked in a nudist friendly environment; they would feel too self-conscious. On probing further, we discovered that the very thing that they felt was the issue stopping them from doing so was the thing that I wanted!

And so it is with exposing our vulnerability in other ways too. The pain that we keep inside, too worried about what others may think to expose to the world, is something that others will admire as a strength for being comfortable to share.
